I can’t help but be a ‘summer’ person. It’s my favourite time of the year. I love the sunshine, the beach and the optimism in the air as we all look forward to our summer holidays.

This year I’ll be spending my summer holiday either beachside or poolside in Byron Bay and Bondi.

When I’m at home in Sydney, Bondi Icebergs is my favourite place to swim laps. All I need is my quick drying beach towel and swimmers and I’m good to go. Howeveraccent pillow case baby burlap decorative, I prefer something more plush and luxurious for beachside lazing in the sun.

The secret is to not be too ‘matchy-matchy’, but always considered in your colour and pattern combinations.

For me, summer isn’t complete without the perfect beach towel. They can even be matched to your outfit of the day – the perfect accessory. The secret is to not be too ‘matchy-matchy’, but always considered in your colour and pattern combinations.

I secretly love using a beach towel as a bath towel in my home. It’s my guilty pleasure! Not only does it create ‘that holiday feeling’, but you get an added touch of luxury and colour in your bathroom all year round.

I love a statement beach towel. They make the perfect Christmas gift for family and friends, and even yourself (you can never have too many).

This season, my top five towels from the Sheridan range are all named after beautiful places I love to visit. What better excuse to grab one and go exploring this summer?

Here are my favourites.

Have a great summer!

Are you ever looking for a new toy for your cat but find all of them boring and ugly? By following along with this instructable i will help you make this awesome TacoCat play tube. I made mine to fit my parents cat Flip, but you could always scale this taco to fit your pet. Like a really small one for a mouse or a big one for a large dog. Please let me know if you made one yourself and if your pet liked it as much as my cat did.

I’m still hoping for mild weather, but that hasn’t stopped me from adding spring colors to our home. Earlier this week I shared my spring home tour with tips to bring spring into your home?{even if it’s still cold and snowy outside}. One tip is to infuse your home with spring colors. Colors evoke emotion and can make a space feel more calm, cheerful, romantic, etc. Now that you have taken a little of our home tour, I’m going to share how I am using colors this spring.
